What would you name...
a brother to August and Bram? Just first names - I don't want to be too much of a bother. Also, their full given names would be August Barnaby Leo and Bram Nathaniel Wilde - what are your thoughts on the combos? Much obliged!

I think the full given names for August and Bram are great, very literary. Although Bram seems to be packed with recognizable author nods, whereas August just has vaguely classical and character names. Similar vibes though. I like them a lot, both together and separately. As for a brother, I think Gideon would work really well, as would Victor and Jasper. I'll add more if I think of them.

A few people seem to have suggested Ivo and it really is growing on me. I love the other four you've listed, too. Thanks! :)

Oh, how I wish both Henry and Louis weren't so popular here :( Thank you! :)

Honestly, I love pretty much all of these! Only a few stick out - Nicholas, Oscar, Robert, and Samuel - and that's more because they're too popular for me to personally use. I love Magnus, but for some reason I've always deemed it unusable - maybe I should rethink that, huh?

Bram Nathaniel Wilde is awesome. I don't like either August or Barnaby though. They go very well together but I really don't like the sounds of them. For a brother maybe

Ingram Benedict Wyeth
vote up1
This would be such a fabulous combination, but do you not thing Bram and Ingram are a little too much together? And do you have any extra information on Wyeth? I do love Benedict.
vote up1
I think Bram and Ingram are complementary. I like similar endings for siblings, as opposed to similar beginnings. I got Wyeth from the artist's name, Andrew Wyeth.

Ooh, I'm looking at Wyeth's art on pinterest now - I rather like it! I love the idea of using artist's surnames as given names, though I don't quite feel Kahlo and co are all that usable.

Greg was the first name to come to mind. Also Sebastien, Lars, Frederick, Reynard, and...I think I could see Stanley working, actually.August Barnaby Leo and Bram Nathaniel Wilde are simply divine~

Interesting that Greg came to mind! I wish Franz Kafka hadn't ruined Gregor for me. And Frederick has been playing on my mind today, it's such a shame it's so popular here - "Fred" is darling. I've never thought about Reynard before, but now you mention it I rather like it! Thank you :)
