Fictional Sibset
I was just looking through some notes for a project of mine, and I came across this sibset.Evan Aspin
Nora Aspin
Samara AspinI remember at the time when I chose them, I liked them all together, but now I think something's quite off. These are all sisters, by the way. Would you have been able to guess without me saying so? Now I think Evan stands out like a sore thumb next to Nora and Samara, and I'm even questioning how well those latter two go together.Thoughts on the sister names? Any suggestions on how you would you tweak the set?

Isn't aspin/aspen a females name not that I care for the name but...I do prefer names placed on the right gender. But Aspin on a boy I guess is fine. I'm really not crazy on the name to be pickyEvan: love. Short, simple, masculin, timeless and ageless
Nora: love! Short, simple, feminine, timeless and ageless
Samara: reminds me of the ring. Samara conjures up 'scary, horror' type
I do like Mara though.
If samara didnt have the association with the ring movies, I wouldnt mind it. I mean it is beautiful.

Ah, I suppose I should've mentioned that Aspin is the surname, not a middle. Sorry for any confusion!I actually agree about your assessment on Evan; I originally used it on this female character because it seemed to make sense in the context of her parents, but next to Nora and Samara, I'm definitely rethinking that one. Just need to think of a name that goes with her sisters' names now... I like Mara too, but I think it's too aesthetically similar to Nora for me to use them in the same story. I don't think I've ever heard of The Ring. Is it something very well known that everyone will associate with the name?
