Re: Making Beatrice a little less common
Ah, I too have lost a few names to the dreaded top 100! (Phoebe, Ivy & Matilda) I once knew a Beatrice who went by Beatty/Beattie (I'm not sure on spelling) which I always thought was kind of spunky. From the nicknames you've listed I like Birdy and Bridie the best. I can't stand Trixie, it just feels like a cats name to me. Vivi is a bit of a stretch, they'd have to constantly explain where the nickname comes from.My favourites of your combos:
Beatrice Andromeda - I dislike Andromeda, there's something harsh and robotic about it to me. However, despite that I like this combo, it sounds like a warrior queen's name.
Beatrice Giovanna - I can't exactly put my thumb on why I like this. I guess because the flow is nice and it sounds kind of romantic-y.
Beatrice Leontine - do you pronounce it leon-TYN or leon-TEEN? Just curious, I like both and they fit nicely with BeatriceSuggestions:Beatrice Octavia
Beatrice Lavinia
Beatrice Isolde
Beatrice Morgana
Beatrice Pandora
Beatrice Laurel
Beatrice Ysabel
Beatrice Epona
Beatrice Everild
Beatrice Peronel
Beatrice Thomasina
Beatrice Celandine
Beatrice Clementine
Beatrice Gaia
Beatrice Ismeneeta: typo

Oh, I love your descriptions of Beatrice Andromeda and Beatrice Giovanna! I pronounce Leontine as lee-on-TEEN :) Beatrice Isolde, Beatrice Morgana, and Beatrice Pandora are just fabulous, so thank you!
