I prefer Thomasin. Which is a little weird, because Thomasina sounds more feminine than Thomasin and I usually prefer more feminine sounding names, and Thomasina is longer than Thomasin and I generally like long names for girls. I'm trying to think why I prefer Thomasin, and what I'm coming up with is that it's closer to Tamsin than Thomasina is and I have a fondness for Tamsin. Also, I think that Thomasina is just a tad too precious for my taste.

Thomasin. Adding the "a" at the end just sounds like you're trying to hard to make it feminine.

I love Thomasin! It's hardly ever used and I think it's adorable. I first discovered it in a book about Tudor women, spelled Thomeson.

Because Thomasin looks more masculine and also looks like Thomas's sin.

I like Thomasin. Thomasina always reminds me of the cat and sounds old fashioned. I like Thomasin though. = )

I prefer Thomasina because, aside from it being a personal fave, it just looks more complete to me than Thomasin does.

Maybe also because I have a weakness for girls names ending with the letter 'a'. Could be a reason too. :)

Thomasin; I find Thomasina a bit too frilly and try-hard. Thomasin is lovely.

Thomasina. Unless the question is Tamsin vs Thomasina, then they are equal.

Thomasin sounds incomplete and a bit like a sentence fragment.

I like both, but I think that Thomasina looks a little more complete and I like the sound of it a litter more. I also like Thomasine.
