Handful of Girl's Names
A few girl's names that have worked themselves into my mind, and won't work themselves out. Just thought it'd be fun to throw them out there and get your guys' opinions on them.Laurentia - I've become utterly smitten with this one. Beautiful and sophisticated. Unexpected and wholly captivating.
Montserrat - This one just interests me, not in a "I'd use it" kind of way, but just in a "Wow, that's a name" kind of way. I'm not even sure I'd ever use this one in a story. Still, I do like to poke at it.
Hannelore - First encountered this one in a book, and it grew on me. Not like I could ever use it (close relative named Hannah), but I do think it has a certain whimsical beauty.
Epiphany - I'm still trying to get over the fact that this one's actually a name. It reminds me too much of Tiffany (a name I despise), and it's always just been one of those fun words that I enjoy using in speech. I do like all of the nicknames I could derive from it, but the name on a whole just sort of baffles me. It has left enough of an impression on me to mentally follow me around all day, though.
