I think that it's fine to use a month or season name for a child born outside that month or season.

I think that Autumn, Spring, Summer, and Winter are all usable. I like Summer and Winter, but dislike Autumn and Spring.

I think that all month names are usable except February and March. I like January, May (but like Mae more), June, July, September, October, November, and December for girls. I think August is usable for a boy, but I don't like it. I don't like April for a girl. That's the most popular month name of all, but I don't like it.

Sure, I'd consider using a month as an inspiration. A girl named Octavia born in October is adorable.
