It doesn't really matter that they're called Alex and Lexi; even those nicknames are way too close for me. But Alex and Alexis? Come on, no one can be that unimaginative. Thankfully, I don't know anyone IRL whose names are that close. (unless you count a Hannah and Grace, but I don't think that's too bad)
