Re: One of the worst names I've seen in a long time! + A question
Ojej, the hay is Shankley? I don't even know how to make heads-or-tails of that one. Is it a place name? Is it a family surname? Or is it after the British actress Amelia Shankley (might be the most likely as you said the girl is English, but why name the boy after an actress?)? And don't even get me started on the rhyme-y endings and duel disyllabicness of Shankley and Gary. This name is just no. Scarlett Rose isn't my cup of tea either (two word names) but it isn't really bad. She got off lucky. Now, my bonus question: What, pray tell, is this ALS Ice bucket challenge? I've been hearing it thrown around lately, but I've no clue what it is, and I haven't felt like watching any videos depicting it because I've no idea what it is. It's been bothering me.

The Ice Bucket Challenge is a fundraiser for ALS. If someone nominates you, you either have to donate $100 or dump a bucket of ice water on your head and challenge three others to donate or dump water on their heads, and it keeps going. A lot of the people do both. I agree that Scarlett Rose has the better name. I sure hope that Shankley is a family name, but it's still horrible.

Ah, thank you! Well, it's nice to see that one of these Internet trends is actually being used for a good cause.
