Could you see Ramona on a blond girl?

Whatever. But I wouldn't like to see it, because the sound of it - that accentuated moan in the middle - really puts me right off.

It does seem more brunette to me, but I can see it on a blonde girl. My daughter, as a child, had a blonde friend named Rhonda, which gives me the same vibe as Ramona, so I can see it.

Yes, I can.

Yeah, I can kind of only see it on a blonde girl because of Ramona Marquez. She's a young British actor, and was hilarious in Outnumbered: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPFwoKNOWSM

Well, Avril Lavigne is blonde, and her middle name is Ramona. I'm embarrassed to know that.

Sure. Why not?

I guess because it has Spanish origins and all the Ramonas I can think of have brown hair.

Yes. Not crazy on the name to be picky about the person behind the name shoukd look like.
Ramona definitely has that older feel to it and I'm not a fan of the amona or moan part.Just saying...

That's cool. To each their own. :)

Definitely! If you've seen The King's Speech, Princess Margaret Rose was played by a young actress called Ramona Marquez, and she was certainly blonde at the time :)

Probably. I only know one Ramona personally, and she's Filipino. But my aunt used to talk about somebody she knew named Ramona, who was a big beefy redhead.
I think it's really a pretty cute name. My husband's pet name for our daughter is Sweet Ramona. Nobody knows why.

I know why! Or, I have a good guess -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MM0MUcc5OKE :)

Aw, haha, that's adorable about your daughter's nickname.I guess so long as people see it as a versatile name that's good. My daughter is probably going to be blond like her brother.
