Hydra: Makes me think of three things - the monster from mythology. Captain America. And Within Temptation's latest album. Only one of those is a good connotation.
Renee: Renee's nice enough, but it's so....boring.
Marcy: Really cutsey. Maybe a nickame?
Nerida: I prefer Merida, but this is really cute.
Gabrielle: I like Gabrielle.
Marya or Merya / Meria "MAIR-ee-uh": Um, well. You're going to get pronunciation issues with this, I'm afraid. Too bad, it's really nice.
Nadiella: I prefer Nadia.
Christa-Lee: I have not opinion to offer.

Hydra - lol you're kidding.
Renee - always brings to mind the first Renee I met... so it strikes me as fun and casual.
Marcy - I like Marci more, and as a nickname. Marcy seems dated and a little stern.
Nerida - I like Merida better.
Gabrielle - spiffy.
Marya or Merya / Meria "MAIR-ee-uh" - appealing but difficult
Nadiella - eh. Elaboration doesn't add anything to Nadia I don't think.
Christa-Lee - crystally! nms but cute.

Hydra: No good. It's a many-headed monster.
Renee: Nice, especially as a first name. It's pretty default as a middle name but kind of unexpected for a first name.
Marcy: Mousy. I picture Marcy from the Peanuts cartoons. I do like Marcella.
Nerida: Doesn't do it for me.
Gabrielle: Not terrible but I think it's overrated, and I really don't like the gab sound.
Marya or Merya / Meria "MAIR-ee-uh": Needlessly difficult. I do love love love Maria. And Mariah is very nice too.
Nadiella: Yuck. Naughty Ella. I don't even like Nadia.
Christa-Lee: I really like Krista, that spelling. Krista Lee would be right cute. Don't see a need for the dash.
