Name for a dog...
Husband and I are tossing the idea around of getting another dog. One of our cats passed away recently, and he was a very difficult (and agressive) cat towards our dog Arthur. I'm probably not thinking about one till next year but I was thinking about some name ideas.. We were thinking about getting another boy dog.
Our other animals are: Harriet Rowena "Hattie" (Tonkinese cat), Fergus Alasdair (Ragdoll cat), Arthur George Digby (West Highland White Terrier) and our guinea pig Edmund.
Here is my puppy :) I gave him a nice trim and a bath. Now he's all dressed up for mothers day :) photo 1896882_10152075835426444_8772913662591351901_n.jpgWe are thinking about maybe a black schnauzer, a cairn terrier or a scottish terrier :)Cairn Terrier or Scottish terrier:
Rupert "Rue" (Husbands suggestion, which was surprisingly nice)
Hamish
Saxon
Cormac "Mackie" (this is the one i'm digging on at the moment)
Lorcan (afraid my family will just call him Lachlan instead)
Albert "Bertie"
Alfred "Freddie"
Black schnauzer:
Schwarzenegger "Schwartz" (A bit ironic as our SN is Arnold ;)
Rolf (we had this picked out before we got Arthur.. now it might be unusable...)
Alfons
Claus
Emil
Franz (love this)
Gustav (though could be possible future sons MN)
Helmut (my brothers suggestion.. i'm not a fan)
Ivo (husbands not a fan)
Otto (Love this)
WalterWe don't have any girls names picked out.. would love all suggestions! :)

I've got a Westie female named Wuffles, after Lord Vetinari's terrier in the Discworld books. I've always had females, but I've also often imagined owning three Scotties - Angus, Fergus and Magnus. Maybe some day ...My default name for a black dog, Scottie or Schnauzer (we had a grey Schnauzer once, called Bellabark), is Sonnet. The Dark Lady.Otto is brilliant for Old English sheepdogs, as is Anna, because it's so hard to tell which end is the front unless they're moving.Cormac would be gorgeous on a male, and you could use Maxine, nn Mackie, in the event of a female.
