Imogen - I like it enough to use.
Claire/Clara- which do you prefer? - Clare. Not so keen on Clara, and some people rhyme it with Sarah, which I find ludicrous.
Freya - Nice to look at, but pronunciation issues put me right off. Both Fryer and Frayer are unappealing.
Nina - lovely! When I was small, I had twin dolls, Nancy and Nina!
Keira - Never seen it. Too close to Kieran, which I dislike.
Truman - Oh dear, no.
Wyatt - As in Earp? Really?
Todd - Too butch by far.
Harlan - Never seen it before; hope I won't see it again.
Dane - Why go there when Daniel is so good?
Alec- will his name always be mispronounced/misspelled? - The one I know has no trouble with that at all; nor I think did Alec Guinness. Excellent name.
Cole - Like the Old King? Silly. Stick to Nicholas and Nick.
Nolan - half of my head thinks of big-band jazz and the other half of Nola salad cream. Two No votes.

Your opinions of Dane and Cole are interesting, especially as I know people with these names irl, and never thought they were silly or odd. I guess people just get used to things.

Imogen - It's a spunky yet beautiful name.
Claire/Clara - I prefer Clara, though I would spell it with a k. They are both beautiful and classic names.
Freya - I prefer it spelt Freja. It is in my top 5 name list for girls!
Nina - In English it is cute and pretty, but in Estonian nina is the word for nose so I would never use it.
Keira - I think of Keira Knightley when I hear this name. : )
Truman - I never really liked this name, but I can understand the appeal of the name to a certain extent.
Wyatt - Love this name! I think it's super cute on a little boy and handsom on a grown man.
Todd - Super cute. It reminds me of The Fox And The Hound.
Harlan - Reminds me of Harlem Gobletrotters.
Dane - I don't really like this as a name.
Alec - I don't think it will be misspelt. I have a cousin with this name and he gets called Alex sometimes, but not often.
Cole - I like it a lot.
Nolan - This name, to me, is like the name Noah. I really don't like this name at all. To me Noah and Nolan don't sound masculine enough, they sound soft and I just don't like them.

Imogen - I don't mind it, though wouldn't use it myself.
Claire/Clara - Claire I find a bit frumpy, whereas Clara I find sweet and pretty.
Freya - I have loved this name for years, I think it's really nice.
Nina - I like it, though I wouldn't use it.
Keira - Nice.
Truman - Trendy, surname-y and not for me.
Wyatt - I do quite like this name, as it has a strong masculine sound to it imo.
Todd - Not a fan of this name, just seems a little incomplete.
Harlan - Same as Truman.
Dane - Great Dane, that's always what I think of first! A bit boring imo.
Alec- It is possible that this name would be mispronounced/misspelled. I don't really like it.
Cole - Not a fan.
Nolan - As above.

In order of preference w/ ratings & comments:Clara "Clah-rah" - 10/10 I absolutely love the way this name looks and sounds. I also like the meaning. I really dislike the pronunciation with beginning sound as Claire.
Nina - 9/10 I love the way this name looks and sounds.
Imogen - 9/10 I just love the way this name sounds.
Keira - 7/10 I really like the way this name sounds... Totally cool!
Freya - 4/10 - It's not the worst name, but it's certainly not the best! Todd - 8/10 I love the way this name looks and sounds. I also like the meaning.
Wyatt - 7/10 I love how this name is soft, but strong at the same time.
Cole - 7/10 I just love the way this name sounds.
Nolan "No-len" - 6/10 I love this name, but I don't love the fact that there's multiple pronunciations. I don't think I even pronounce it correctly... Oh well!
Dane - 5/10 This is actually a decent name; I like it a bit more than I dislike it, but not enough for the rating to be 6/10.
Alec - 5/10 This name is way better than Alex/Alexander, in my opinion. I don't hate this name, but I don't love it either.
Truman - 1/10 I just don't like it.
Harlan - 1/10 I just don't like it.

I never knew the meaning of Todd, that is pretty cool. i can't decide if I really like or kinda hate it. It sounds a bit more like a noise to me than a name but it's bold and strong and not too common which I like.

I'd say this "A-lek" with a short A which could be wrong. Cole - ol' King ColeNolan - hmmm... I've never heard this before. It sounds sneaky and oily and sly to me.

I love your descriptions. For Wyatt and Nolan, they are spot on. You've made me realise why I never liked Wyatt much.

I really like Nina, and Clara & Alec are nice. I guess some people might confuse Alec with Alex, but I don't think it would be too big a deal.

Imogen: Looks weird without an e on the end, and sounds like a chemical.
Claire/Clara- which do you prefer? Claire, if I have to choose, but the name is so pale and limp.
Freya: Cold, harsh.
Nina: Cute.
Keira: It's cute but I like Kyra or Kira better.
Truman: Stuffy.
Wyatt: It's okay.
Todd: Ultimate douche name.
Harlan: Seems very Dust Bowl.
Dane: No more than I like Spaniard or Turk as a name.
Alec- will his name always be mispronounced/misspelled? Yes, probably. And it sounds too posh and pompous, and like smart-aleck.
Cole: Okay, especially good as a middle name.
Nolan: Dul and heavy.

I never even thought of smart-aleck, good point!

I like Clara, Nina and Alec. How would Alec be mispronounced?
vote up1
Oh I just mean that everyone might assume he says Alex when he introduces himself, since it's a more popular name.
vote up1
Ohh yeah, I could see that happening. I really love Alec though, I don't think that would put me off using it :)
