Two sightings
The other day I heard a woman talking to a toddler called Bessie. Not sure if it was short for anything (I kind of hope it is though). Bess is OK, but Bessie it a bit too farmyard for me. Really interesting/weird to hear it on a real life person thoughI also heard one girl calling out to her younger sister, about four years old: India. Thought I'd mention that because of the recent posts about India on here :)

Bess/Bessie are nicknames in my opinion. Plus, they make me think of a dog.Don't like India. I don't see the appeal.

Bessie is meh but still different to hear which is refreshing. I know a girl called India. I think it's pretty though I wouldn't use it myself.

I like India, but not Bess or Bessie. Definitely cow names.
