An "if you had to"
If you were to make a sibset using names with doubled letters in each name, what would you pick? For example, Anne and Otto. Name as many and of any gender you like. Extra points if you can come up with middle names that have double letters too!

Matthias ElliottIn the interest of full disclosure, I'm not a huge fan of double letters and choose the alternate with single letters whenever possible/still sensible (Annabel over Annabelle, but not Anabel)

My rather large sibset would be:Willow Lillian, Vivienne Summer, Henrietta Sapphire, Arianna Addison, Tennyson Matthias, Atticus Quinn, and Sullivan Cassidy."Willow, Vivi, Hennie, Annie, Tenny, Atticus, and Sullivan."Names also on my list that have double letters, but which I couldn't find a suitable partner for:Alyssa (nickname Lyssa or Lyssie if used as a first name)
Bella
Saffron
Harrison (b)

Milly Hannah is beyond adorable. I sincerely love it.

This is hard, a lot of my favourite names don't have double letters, or at least not double letters next to each other. Camilla, Estella, Dashiell and William
Belle and Tess
Willow and Merrin
Lillian, Ella and Connor
Vivienne and Nell
Stellan and Anna

Boy ones are tough. Only Niall really; I quite like it and unlike Otto it isn't canine. Otto and Anna ... such brilliant names for Old English Sheepdogs, the ones that you can't tell the front end from the rear until they move. So, Niall and, yes, Anne (declaring bias). Harriet. Polly and Sally. Ooh, and thanks to HaySkyNat, who reminded me of Tessa! Mns are a bridge too far, I'm afraid.

Love these. Brenna Camille is so simple and sweet. Camille makes any combo better imo though, so a bit of bias there.
Fallon William is fantastic. I had always thought of Fallon for girls, but it works here.
Hollis Donnelly is also great... though I am not sure if this is a boy or girl? Hollis is on ly boy list (bc my sister is Holly), but I know it works for both.

Hollis Donnelly is most definitely a boys name. I would never use either name on a girl, they're way too masculine, imo. Same with Fallon, to me there is nothing feminine, girly or pretty about it, I find it quite handsome and strong for a boy. :)

Cressida is a winner.
Annelise Ellen just sounds strong and frilly at the same time.
Drusilla Belle! It just works, for me. I think Belle is the perfect cutesy middle for a name with "wicked" connotations, highlighting it's prettiness. I might substitue Priscilla if I were to use it though, but I like what you sis there. Wallace Otto, Merrick Etienne, and Arabella Brigitte get a shout out.

My girls are informal and a little playful, and my boys sound like a law firm letterhead. I'm okay with that. Bonnie Camilla

Oh I love this!
I've always wanted to name a daughter Vivienne Margaretta.
For this game, if she had a brother, I think Chess Braaten would be awesome.
If she had a sister, I like Linnea Charlotte.Margaretta is a family name. I'm actually the seventh generation in my family to have it and my daughter (if I have one) will be the eighth.
Braaten is my grandma's maiden name. I've been considering giving my first son either her maiden name for his middle name or her married name when she passed away (which is on her paintings) as his middle name. Her maiden name fit for this though... so I used it.

Always wanted to name a cat Minoos, never thought to use Minoo IRL. Tullia Minoo is very fun.

Jessica, Allen, Wiliam, and Vanessa.

Do you think Vanessa would be a good choice for a child today. People IRL seem to think it out of fashion, but I have always likes it.
vote up1
yes, I think it is a good choice ...It's been fairly popular to one degree or another for a few generations now, and while it might not be in the top 100 anymore, it isn't dated in the same way as Brittany or Tara is.

Anneliese is great with Sonnet. I love the pairing of Griffin Etienne, very manly and soft at the same time.

Sibset 1:
William Matteo
Isaac Harry
Emmeline Vivienne
Sibset 2:
Stella Noelle
Willow Lykke
Isabelle Philippa
I love Ellen too, but I didn't think it was a good watch with any of the names in sibset 1, and it's too close to Stella/Isabelle. In real life, I would choose Ellen over Isabelle though.

Stella Noelle is killer, love it. I think that Ellen would work as Ellen Philippa in that sibset. It shares the two syllables, simplicity and earthiness to me.

Using only names I like and would actually use in real life...Elliot Todd
Aaron Quinn Emmeline Holly
Linnet Marianne
Aislinn SummerAnd all the middle names are doubles too!!

I like Linnet.
Marianne is lovely with it, but I think I might personally change it to Linnet Mirren. Cute though. Aislinn Summer is adorbs.
