what would you
What would you name a chair?
I got a new chair and I think it's beautiful. It needs a name-It's a swivel chair-if it helps, not sure of the preferred gender yet. My old computer that died was named Zirkon, and My semi-old one is named Neon...who knows what I'll name the next one.

Pity it's a chair and not a sofa. Sofia the Sofa would be stunning. Maybe the chair could be Sofia, nn Sofe, on the grounds that it's shorter than a sofa? For a computer, Tinny Tina.

Frig Yeah! I would totally name a chair!
I have all kinds of plushies with names. I also have a small statue with a name.
My computer is named Lennox and my cellphone's name Jacques. Name that chair, yo!Sorry, didn't answer the question. If I were to name a swivel chair, I'd probably call it Maxine,... because I would get the Maximum amount of work in it.
You just have to go with what comes to you.

I would need to know more about the chair. It is a modern-looking or an old-fashioned chair? Is it comfortable? Is it a chair where you sit and do things you like or things you grudgingly perform (like work)? Can I see a picture of the chair?

Amy is a great name but I don't see it as Amy. it seems like an H name or a v name to me.

to be honest ...If you're the type who feels the need to name furniture and other inanimate objects, and a name for a chair doesn't come to you naturally and quickly, I say don't force it.
