A nice name I saw
I was at McDonalds and a young girl (about 1
16 or 17) served me.. Her name was Pearl. :)I know it's not a new name or anything but I've next met an old Pearl let alone a young one.Cassie...girlfriend to Cameron and mum to Hayley Anne, Skye Louise, Nathan James and Blake Robert

Pearl has a nice sound and meaning, but at the same time way too corny in my opinion! Not a real name for me.

Cute. I've really started to like Pearl. And it seems like it's making a comeback, in the US at least, so I expect we'll start seeing more young Pearls. I, too, have never known a Pearl.

I don't know that I'd call Pearl nice, but I have a separate category for Names-I-don't-really-like-but-I'd-still-appreciate-seeing-them-used. Pearl goes in that category.

I think it's a lovely name, and nice to see on a young person.

I like the name Pearl. I would definitely use it for a character. Its a great name for all ages and there can be quite a few personality types associated with it. It's pretty awesome.I've known one really person named Pearl, I think. There was an elderly lady that went to my church that was named Pearl, I think,
The name was temporarily ruined for me by Spongebob Square Pants. I decided the whale character was that terrible though. I still can't use the name Patrick without thinking of that idiot starfish. That is one of the few cartoons I abhor. >.
