Brenda is old-fashioned for me, but I guess ok for a Mom.
The alliteration in Jamal Jacobs sounds weird, especially since Jamal is a typical Arabic name and Jacobs isn't.
Zachary and Calvin match and therefore I think they're ok, but Jamal should have insisted on naming the kids after him or giving them more oriental names. ;-)

Jamal is black, and his last name was originally Barnes. Plus, some black people give their kids Arabic names.
