Your favorite names not in the server?
Any names you like that aren't in this websites database. No one has summit the names\s.
Not talking about names YOU made up. But legit names and maybe the reason they aren't listed is that they are rare. This site is great-has a lot of names to look at but even this site can't have every name in the world listed.Mine (all boys at the moment-sortof)Adner: Ad-ner. Found Abner though. Much prefer Adner
Lyron: Lie-rin. Myron is listed though. Myron is on my list
Yorak: yor-ick. GP name
Borak: bor-ick. GP name
Aaralyn: air-a-lyn. Modern invented name. I normally don't like those type of names but my god, Aaralyn is so beautiful! I once had a dream I had a daughter with this name. Aaralyn is finally in the database. (Yay!!) But wish for perhaps another spelling to choose from. \: but if that never happens, Aaralyn as this spelling is fineThere may be more but drawing a blank. So what are yours?

If it's a legit name, please feel free to submit it with information about it. http://www.behindthename.com/submit/ Most of my names are either in the database or submitted. Some that aren't...Fog
Inspire
Glow
someone has deleted Radiance again
Prose
Resplendence
AudacityThey're all words.

I would submit them if I had the information about them. Borak I'm not too sure of. It sounds like a name-though very foreign and badass. Heehee (: Yorak too. I have heard of that one (Yorak) so assumed that Borak could be a name as well.
Even if they aren't actually official\legit names, they still sound very cool.Lyron is legit. Googled it. Just discovered it yesterday while watching TV but not listed. I'll submit it if I can't get info on it
Adner I know is legit also. I definetly heard of it before and even used it for a character of mine. If not mistaken, Adner is an old bible name? Like one of those older names from the bible. I may sumit Adner but that's the only information I have on it.None in your list would be listed since they are words. Not actually names. But I'm certain that "prose" is listed

I checked all of the names on my list. I'm an editor for submitted names so I can even see the deleted ones (That's how I noticed Radiance was deleted). Prose is not listed.
But that doesn't mean there are no words in the database. River. Delight. Emerald. Epiphany. Wisdom. Treasure. Thankful. Teal. Sunshine. Storm. Royal. Rainbow. etc. Plenty of words can be names. Adner is not in the Bible.

I sincerely adore word name and wish I had the audacity to use them. Wisdom and Whisper are my favorites. Emerald is lovely too. I also like Grant, Aim, Reason, Cedar, Cinder, Astral, Joyous, Honor, Jubilee, Stirling, Minuet, Meadow, Dawn, Essence and Solstice.

Grant, cedar, sterling (stifling) meadow and dawn are in the server...

Yes. I know they are. I was more responding to Rachel Shaina than the original question.

Hmm. Alright but I definetly have heard it before. Definetly has that "vintage" quality to it but not "elderly only" can definetly be usuable today.
I submitted the name myself. If anyone else has any further information on it, they can feel free to edit it.
I stated that it was a bible name but I'll change that. I'm not finding the name listed as a biblical name.
Maybe its an English name. \:Delight, wisdom, treasure, thankful, sunshine, storm, royal and rainbow I don't see usuable on a child at all. For a pet, their fine...

Maybe it is just a straight up variation or mistake on Abner (which IS a biblical name). I see names at the bottom of the social security index all teh time that are almost like normal names, but someone mispelled them accidentally or on purpose (i.e. Jennfier, Luara, Traivs).

Must be a variation or just exceedingly rare. Either way if it is made up, definetly can work on someone today. Sounds like alegit name with a vintage, gentlemen quality to it.

Most names I like that aren't in the server at all are names from litterature or names I've made up, but there are a few that are "real" names (at least I think so):Amarantine
Amorina (from an old Swedish play)
Apollinaria
Caparina (a type of butterfly)
Citlalmina (means "meteorites" in Nahuatl)
Ellemina (rare Swedish name)
Ellentine (ditto)
Frayda (Yiddish for "joy")
Nanako (means "eight child" in Japanese)
Nanouschka ("little sweet Anna" in Russian)
Nápla (Irish variant of Annabel)
Orianthi (Greek, not sure what it means, but the anthi part means flower)
Rosabeth
Rosewen
Sentyabrina (means something like "September child" in Russian)
Toltse (Yiddish variant of Dolce)
Vildana (Bosnian; not sure what it means)
Xué Xiâo (means "snow morning" or "little snow" in Mandarin)

NanakoNanako means "seven child", not eight. Being has how "nana" is one of the Japanese words for seven.
Just thought you might like to know :)Orianthi - this is lovely! The ori- prefix usually means "eastern" so "eastern flower" maybe?

Sorry, I mixed it up! I have studied some Japanese, but it was long ago...
We learned that shichi is the usual word for seven, so I wasn't really sure if nana was seven or eight...
