Name this Cat
Male. We might be adopting him. Current name is Hawkeye but DF is very against using it. Big brother cat would be Houdini, but I'm not interested in doing a theme. If it matters, he's a Maine Coon mix and has polydactyl, if anyone has some neat name that means "extra toes".We like slightly more humanish names (no "Fluffy", etc).

My dh has been wanting a Maine coon, and polydactyls are also a favorite of his. If you don't adopt him my Pete might . . . . Ernest (Ernie?) (for Mr, Hemingway)
Polydoros (= many gifts)
Paulie
Digit
Willie (for Willie Mays, center fielder -- polydactyls remind me of cats wearing baseball gloves)
Pepin (a duke of Maine)
Benjamin (= son of my right hand)
Edward Scissorhands (nn Eddie?)
Charles (nn Charlie?)(for Captain Charles Coon: http://www.nikdaum.com/coon/ )

I named my cat Atlas, I didn't want a "fluffy" name and "real" human names didn't feel ok either, so I started to look at mythology names.
Odin or Zeus perhaps?
