I've lived in Malawi and many of the popular English first names (and their vernacular equivalent) are very Mayflower. Eg I know people named Love, Remember / Memory / Remnant, and Constance. I don't think of Constance as being Puritan though.How great is Peregine, can we all just appreciate it? Also, I would love a dog named Diggory or Digby. I don't like Humility. Urgh. Humble is kinda cool, on a boy.
