That Theodore Roosevelt's family nickname was Teedy? Not Teddy but Teedy. He claimed to have hated it and I can't say I blame him.

Yes, I was aware. Good thing his nickname among the press and public, in contrast to his family, was Teddy, or else we would now call the stuffed animal a Teedy Bear.
