Names you love
Piggy backing off my other post, what are some names you absolutely love? Not just ones you like, but if you were going to have a kid tomorrow, what names would you use? You can give combos if you like, or just names in general. For me it would be,Charlotte Pearl
Eleanor Lark
Juniper Elise
Ruby Winifred
Edith Wren (maybe, I love it in theory but not sure how well it would work on a real kid)Boys names I'm more iffy one. There have never ben any boy names that I LOVED and would use in a second so I can't think of any combos.Henry Oliver (which is my son's name)
Jackson
Bennett
Felix

Not crazy about Mildred but for some reason, it pairs nicely with Juliet.

If I had a son tomorrow he would without a doubt be Tobias. Middle names are still up for question, I adore the combo Tobias Herbert Phoenix, or I might go with the more reserved Tobias Henry. (Both Herbert and Henry have family significance).A girl would most probably be Willow Eleanor Mary, unlike with a boy it is the first name that is up for grabs and the middle names with are unchangeable! Eleanor and Mary both honour amazing people in my life.Other girls first names I'd bat around:
Octavia
Margot
Luna
Nina

Love love Eleanor and Henry :) Octavia is another one I've been thinking about a lot lately.

Isaac James
Benjamin Arthur
Samuel Peter
Peter Nathaniel
Thomas Andrew
Abner MicaiahAlice Virginia
Susannah Margaret
Lucy Caroline
Charlotte Sophia
Anne Rebecca
Elizabeth Anna
and I love both Mary Keturah and Keturah Mary.I am sure I'd choose either Alice or Isaac for a child born tomorrow. I'm sure I will have children named Isaac and/or Alice in the future. I would also love to have the name Keturah somewhere -- it's a rare family gem I have always treasured.

Susannah Margaret is really lovely. I also like Peter Nathaniel and Isaac James. Very solid names.

I love Susannah Margaret and Lucy Caroline. I think Keturah is cool as a middle name.

My Entire Personal name list is made up of names I love, If I didn't like them enough, they would be there.

Nice to see someone who has love for Svetlana :)

Great lists of names! Henry Oliver is such a handsome combo and I think Felix Bennett would be great for a brother and either Edith Wren or Charlotte Pearl for a sister.

Thank you! I can't take credit for Henry Oliver, his parents chose that for him. But once I heard it, I fell in love. It's so handsome. Felix Bennett is a nice combo! I didn't even think of that.

Margalit "Margot" and Quinlan are my favorite names. I'm not sure if I'd use Quinlan, but I feel like that about all my boy names. I would name a daughter Margalit in an instant, though.

I have a similar feeling towards all my boy names. A lot of boy names, I only like as middle names. How would you say Margalit?

Flynn is nice! Again, probably would be a middle name spot for me. I have that trouble with boys names, I don't like any of them enough for first names. Willow is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

I would call a boy David. I love the name, but my husband doesn't. We have two boys, neither of them David-no more children for me, but I'd really try for a David if I was having another.

I have a nephew named David! David Stephen James. David is a good, strong name.

Some names I love, which I would probably not use as first names, because they're not quite the style for me to use - girls:
Charlotte - longtime favorite, but I say it "Charlet," and I like it when it's "Charlawt," and... that just isn't happening.
Gemma
Julia, Heather, Melanie, Angela, Amy, Jasmine, Kendra, Shannon, Sherry, Karissa, Summer, Meryl - too dated
Edith - yeah. I think I would use it and then I think - but would I really end up calling her Edie? I don't know. Edith itself is not quite ready for prime time, and I am not sure I would want to be named it if I were born now.
Claudia
Iris, Violet
River, Liberty, Lark - GPsNames I love that I might actually use:
Virginia (Gini)
Alexandra (Alex or Sandy or Sandra)
Darcy? It's been off limits because a friend named her daughter it, but we haven't spoken in years now...
Mellisant (Mellie) - well, my husband would veto it but I'm not having any more kids so this is hypothetical.boys - love but wouldn't use as first names (maybe middles):
Merrick
Valentine (Val)
Francis
Zeno
Marshall
Jay

I feel the same way with Edith. I adore Edie as a nickname and I love the name, but I'm not so sure I would use it. I do like Mellisant is not something I've heard before, but the more I think on it, I like it. Merrick and Rowan are definitely growing on me, I think I would put them in middle name spots though. Not crazy about Raymond but I like Damon, even if everyone thinks it's some devil child name.

If I were to have a girl tomorrow, her name would be one of these three:Verity Hazel
Vivien Hazel
Calanthia Hazel nn CallieIf I were to have a boy tomorrow, his name would be either:Evander Kenneth
Quentin AnthonyHazel would be honoring my maternal grandmother. Kenneth is honoring my SO, whom I'm assuming would be the father. But Quentin Kenneth sounds terrible, so if it were Quentin, I'd go instead with my father's middle name.

Hazel is SO nice in the middle name spot. It's not something you'd expect but it's refreshing. Calanthia is growing on me.

I especially like your boys' list!I'd use any of those, probably. Had our daughter been a boy (and she was expected to be, as she has 2 older brothers!) we would have called her Andrew. Vincent is quite popular in my area, these days.

Not sure what it is about Holly, but I love that name too. Same goes for Benjamin (which I always forget about) and Noah.
