I suppose it makes sense that the sound is unisex. Gracin et Grayson are pretty popular names where I live. Grace I link internally to females, it's just a lady-name to me... however, I would slowly accept a boy named Grace if I met one. I just would never, ever make that leap myself. That said, I love virtue and nature names lately (who knew?) and am all for bringing them back in new and unexpected ways.
For example, I was looking up the name Sojourner the other day (for another post) and I swear I thought it was unisex and would be fantastic on a boy - alas BtN lists it as feminine. ______________________________________________
