Re: Cookie & Honest Opinions
If Coco and Candy can pass, I don't see why Cookie can't. I am not personally a fan, but "playful" sounds like an accurate descriptor. Beautiful is a stretch, but "quirky and cute" would have been honest and could easily have been followed by "unexpected and totally not my style". I think that if she was just being polite, good for her! Once a child actually gets his/her moniker, I say compliment it. It belongs to a person now and is much more than a name so no point in bashing it, especially in front of mom/dad/baby, etc. Now, online is a totally different story. So, my virtual (and semi-anonymous) opinion of that name Cookie is that it is ridiculous and pompous to give your kid a name they will have to work past their whole life, and which will make people hungry. ;)
*From your post title, I thought you were also going to ask about the name Honest. . . to which I would have said that I prefer Honor, but would use Honesty over Honest if forced. ______________________________________________
