I don't like Cookie as a name. To me, it's like calling someone Toots (tuhts). Making them a nameless chick, not a real person. I sure hope she was joking. But then, using it during the pregnancy would be like on a couple of sitcoms I've seen, where they were discussing names for the baby, and the toddler in the family suggests something like Big Bird or Hot Dog, and it becomes an inside joke way of referring to the baby instead of calling him/her 'It' or 'the baby' all the time.
