I wouldn't simply use random halloweenish words, but some might work. You might want to be slightly subtle and incorporate names with ghoulish connotations like Vlad Tepes, the inspiration for Dracula. Autumn, Bathory, Bracken, Briar, Casper, Dreary, Dusk, Fey, Faustus, Hyde, Jack (O'lantern), Jacob Jekyll, Johnny (as an illusion to the song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"), Morticia, Raven, Shelley, Thorn, Twilight, Wyrd, Vlad.
