Solid. Kind of boring. David's just a classic, though, so can't argue with that.

I like David and I'm alright with Eric, but I seriously don't understand why they're calling him David Eric if he's just going to go by Eric anyway. The only reason I can think of is if the last name starts with a letter that would make ED an awkward start to the initials, but I can't think of any ways the initials ED could start something embarrassing. EDD? DE has potential embarrassing initials, like DED, DEW, DEA, and DEN. EDU? EDO? I understand completely if that is their reason, though. My parents almost called my sister Panagiota Anna, but then they realized her initials would spell PAP and quickly scrapped it.

Cute name, and congrats!

I really like David Eric, and it flows well. I can understand why his parents would call him by his middle name since having two Davids in the same house could get confusing.

I really really have a pet peeve about deliberately putting names in one order and then calling the person by their middle name. Why the heck? In this case, Eric David would even sound better anyway, so I don't get it.
Nothing wrong with the names, though. I like Eric.

Doesn't flow well. Eric David would have been better in my opinion.
And this would have made much more sense since he is called Eric anyways.
The combo is a little boring although David is always a good middle name choice.
