Narrowing down baby name choices
For a boy, we have decided on Rowan Charles (Charles after DH's grandfather). We are still trying to agree on a girl's name. So far Violet Anneliese is my top choice, but DH is still pushing for Valentina. I'm still not sold on Valentina, because I can't think of a middle name to go with it. Thoughts?Jennifer

Does it have to be a V name? Valerie Lizanne might tick your boxes. I find Violet very sentimental, and as a nn, Vi is second only to Di - second-last, that is.For mns, if you used either Valerie or Valentina (which is inconveniently long and will become Tina or Val before her cord's cut) you'll probably want to avoid a name starting with a vowel. Valentina Rosanne has an Anne and is somewhat floral; Valerie would work there too. Valerie Rosanne. Valerie Helen. Valerie Suzette. Valerie Rowena!I really like Rowan Charles.

I like Violet Anneliese too, as you're right about Valentina being hard to find a good middle name for. I'd try a shorter name that doesn't end in an a (too repetitive most of the time, and I can't see any -a ending names working wh Valentina as a mn)Valentina Clare (or Claire)
Valentina Marie
Valentina Lily
Valentina Zoe
Valentina Margot
Valentina Rachel
Valentina Rose
Valentina Nicole
Valentina GraceIn all honesty the only ones I like are Valentina Clare and Valentina Marie. The rest are nms but I don't what you like so they could work if you like them.
