I really like Mark, Mary, Matthias, and Michael. Marshall, Malachi, and Muhammad are alright. I don't particularly care for the rest.

I like Malek and Mariam, though I'd use Marianne: they are so close in sound that using the more English version would avoid a lifetime of confusion. I have already used Mary, as a mn.I was hoping to see Misbah! Just so I could ask you about the -ul-Haq combination. No other names seem to require a Name-ul-Haq kind of structure, and I'm sure it must have a good reason, but I've never found one. Inzamam-ul-Haq was the first that I encountered, and now Misbah-ul-Haq ... both are known in the world of cricket by what must be their first names, Inzamam or Inzy and Misbah, but why the hyphens? I suppose this should be on the Facts board, so if you have information we can move it there.I'm crossing fingers and holding thumbs!

Mahmoud --I don't care for the "mood" sound.
Malachi --Like it.
Malaika (ma-LIE-kah) --I love Malaika and would consider using it if it wouldn't be perceived as a yet another tryndee take on Makayla.
Malak ("mal-ahk", unisex name) --Not a big fan of the sound.
Malek ("MAH-leck", also spelled Maalik) --Ditto.
Malik ("mal-ick") --I love it as mah-LEEK but hate MAL-ick. Mal (bad) + ick...no thanks.
Mansur ("man-soor") --My only association is a girl I knew with the last name Mansour, so it reads as surnamey to me.
Mariam --Pretty, though I prefer Miriam.
Marita --Too cutesy, and I generally dislike -rita names.
Mark --Love it!
Marshall --Ugly and squishy. And it's a title.
Marwa --I don't find "rw" pleasant-sounding at all.
Mary --I love Mary. It's classic but not boring (I know very few Marys and most are over 50) and suits any type of baby, girl, or woman.
Masoud --Neutral.
Matthias --One of my favorites. I like most forms of Matthew.
Mehdi --Hmm, this could grow on me.
Michael --Great name. Popular, yes, but for good reason.
Moses --Waaaaay too loaded.
Muhammad --I can appreciate the religious significance but I just do not like the sound.
