Good strong names I like from my family tree. Ephraim is an ancestor who fought in the American Revolution. Alexander is a common Scottish name in my Maternal Grandfather's family. Lorenzo is after my Paternal Grandfather.

Louis Oleander John
I adore the name Louis and John and can't see having a son without using those names at the moment. Oleander is similar enough to Alexander I don't see an issue with it being used. Yes, it's poisonous but the flowers are absolutely beautiful.

Lucio is one of my faves, Osvaldo is honoring one of my uncles.
I know Osvaldo is a form of Oswald, a name reviled in the US and UK, but in Brazil the name doesn't have any major negative associations.

At least that's what I'd probably go with, but in reality I'd have to take a short list to the hospital and decide when I met him. The short list would be August, Griffin, Oscar, Grover, Deacon, Ezra & Boston.

Assuming my husband liked Damon. I don't know if he does or not. If not, it would be either Raymond "Ray" (don't know if he likes), or Nicholas "Nick" Marshall (I know he'd use). Marshall because it honors someone on my husband's side (used one from my side already). I like "flow" but in real life, I don't give a rip about flow as long as nothing sounds strikingly ridiculous.

I'd prefer Ciaran Gareth but at least the last time I checked my husband only likes the spelling Keiran. It's a boys name that we both love. Gareth would honor his mn which is Garrett.
Then if we had another son he'd be Arthur Magnus. It would make a theme of Arthurian names as well which my husband and I are both fans of. Arthur would honor his favorite grandfather and it's kind of reminiscent of Albertus Magnus.
