I think whoever wrote that list is a bit behind the time. Lots of those names are already in the top 100.I can see Elodie rising. Ronnie is not far out of the top 100 and fits the old-man-nickname trend. I came across a little Otto recently. Not so sure about Ernest and Emil but otherwise I agree with this but most of these are not really a surprise as they've been getting popular for a while.

I'm so surprised that Ronnie is becoming popular! It's like the moldiest and grossest of the old man nns.

A lot of these are already popular and/or are in the top 100.I like Beatrice, Elsie (as a nn for Elisabeth), Edith, Albert, Ernest, Otto and Rudy.

Darcy: I doubt this is going anywhere in the US. It's pretty dated and wasn't all that popular in the first place.
Beatrice: Maybe but I don't see it making any dramatic gains.
Elsie: Probably one of those isn't-ugly-adorable names some people seem to love but again, no big gains.
Willow: Very Hollywood trendy.
Evelyn: Quite popular already.
Ivy: Can see it gaining modestly.
Violet: Going only by the charts, it's already up and coming.
Victoria: Seriously? Where do these people get the names they think are going to rise? Victoria's been popular for decades now.
Edith: Hope it dies and never revives.
Elodie: WTF?Theodore / Teddy: Maybe.
Eli: Already pretty common.
Ronnie: Oh please. Not a chance.
Felix: Hipster darling.
Albert: Not a chance.
Austin: Already seems to have hit its peak.
Ernest: I doubt it.
Otto: Probably has the potential to be a hipster darling like Felix.
Rudy: WTF?
Emil: WTF?

I'm happy to see Elodie and Emil and maybe Austin. A lot of these I already thought were quite popular. Elsie for example I thought was quite common in the UK and I feel like Victoria is consistently used. Theodore is pretty common here as is Violet, Willow and Ivy, but perhaps they aren't in the UK. I'm surprised to see Edith, Ronnie, Ernest and Otto (Otto is a dog name to me).
