My coworker has two sons named Eason and Dickson. Eason is named after the famous Chinese singer Eason Chan, and Dickson is named after well known businessman Dickson Poon. WDYT?Jenn

I can't believe people are still naming their boys Dickson in this day and age, that's ridiculous. And I've never liked Eason...

They are too close together. I don't mind them on other people's kids, though I think Eason looks trendy and Dickson is asking for dick jokes.

I feel very sorry for Dickson lol. Not a fan at all. Its a neon sign for bullying\major teasing and would give that kid a hard time during the course of his life. Just being realistic Easton is great though

I'm curious, if you think Dickson would invite teasing for a kid as a first name, do you think the same if he had Dixon as a last name? My great-aunt married a man whose last name was Dixon, so then it became her last name, though they never had any children.

As a last name, its not as bad but still has that teasing potential though it is a fairly common one. As a first\middle I think its horrid. Dixson\dickson or however else you spell it

They're unique but I don't like either of them.

Better Dickson than Poon.
