Naming first baby

Hello I am looking for some help naming my first baby due in May 2015. I used to be very into names and always had names picked out for future kids but now I am actually pregnant I am really struggling! Our surname is Nairn so I figure the first name can't really end in "n". I am open to all suggestions. We aren't finding out the sex. So far my favourites are Silvie and Alexander though perhaps Alex is a bit of a dull one? Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Thank you!

Alexander is classical and the nn Alex is rather handsome. Not quite as fond of Silvie. I prefer Silva or Silvia.A few names you might like:

I'd prefer Sylvia (or Silvia) to Silvie, and I think the rhythm is better that way too. What about just Alec for a boy?

I don't know your style, so I'll just put some ideas out there.GirlsI prefer Sylvia. Alexander is lovely. Why not go for Xander/Zander as a nickname?Morwenna
