Re: Two under consideration

I can sort of see Connelly on a boy, as a "look at me, I'm totes Irish, y'all!" sort of thing. Like he'd have a brother named Finnegan and a sister named Hennessy. Con might do for a nn, but really, a con is a scam or somebody that's done prison time. There's always Nelly, but I don't need to explain the trouble there. The whole thing is like "too hip to use Connor" which isn't a great name but it is better than Connelly.
Aniston just sucks. It's a cheesy, tryndee girls' name now and the only nn that makes any kind of sense is Annie.
I think, therefore I judge.

Well, I like Finnegan a lot and I don't mind Hennessy either...so maybe I'm all "look at me, I'm totes Irish, y'all!" Doh.
Yes, Con and Nelly are both bad options. I was hoping someone would have a brainwave of a nickname.
Aniston is a cheesy, tryndee girl's name now? Dang it. Where? It hasn't hit the top 1000 for the US yet.
No comment on Aniston for a boy? I'm assuming you think it's 'totes' unusable?

you assume correctly
And my referencing Annie as its nn hammers home the point.
It may not be on the chart yet but it has that flavor about it pretty strong.
