Re: 3 favourites/least favourites

Favorite Girls:
Eva- Pretty, classic, and easy to spell when she's a little girl starting school.
Esme- I like it despite the "Twilight" associations. It has a ladylike charm.
Geneva- Lovely with a certain old world elegance
Like Least:
Quinn- sounds like a boys name, too masculine. Maybe Quinley, or Quinry.
Alba- okay but sounds a tad old ladyish in a stuffed up way. Alma, Alayna, Alfrida might be a little better.
Anika- For some reason whenever I see this name, I immediately think of Anakin Skywalker. It's probably just me, but I start thinking of future Darth Vader with a gender change.
Favorite Boys:
Declan: Really like this name, and it has an interesting history as an Irish saint name. The singer Declan Galbraith was quite good as a kid.
Julian: Nice name with strong historical roots.
Lachlan: Appealing but not too common and has a hint of the mystery of the Scottish Lochs.
Like Least:
Soren- Not bad, but am not fond of the sore part. Similar names are Stephen, Septim, Solomon, Sven, Simon, Souma, Solon, Sefton.
Seth- Reminds me of "Cold Comfort Farm" and the line,"Highly sexed men on farms are always called Seth or Reuben." Other than that obscure reference, Seth sounds slippery to say like a snake hissing. How about Sean, Seamus, Septemis, Silas, or Silvanus.
Cole- Okay, but is a homonym of coal. It sounds a little incomplete as a full name. Maybe it could be a nn for Colton, Coulson, Colwyn.
