1. Connie as a male nickname has outlived its shelf life by several generations. Even as a girls' name it feels very middle-aged.
There is Connie Mack Stadium in Philadelphia, and the Connie Mack it's named for used it as a nn for Cornelius. I guess it beats Corny, but not by much.
2. I always liked Jason, it's been popular for quite a while now though it doesn't seem to be as popular now as when I was growing up.
3. Alaric makes me think of allergy medicine.
I think, therefore I judge.
