I like the names individually, but the combo sounds a bit pretentious. Edge sounds odd as a nn, more the kind of nn a teen ager himself than parents would give their child.

Edgar feels a bit stodgy to me, it reminds me of the villain from the Aristocats I think is why. I don't know if seeing it in use would change that for me. Edge would be a good nickname, and I think would suit very well for a little boy. I do think pairing Edgar with something a bit lighter than Charles would help the combo, though the flow is good as is.Clarisse and Edgar feel off balance as siblings. Clarisse and Charles go wonderfully though.

WDYT of Edgar CharlesI think it's aborable. Nickname Edge is but pretentious though. Also, it makes me think of The Edge from U2.

I think it's a very distinguished combo. Edgar is one of those names that I don't mind seeing in the world but I'd never use for my child, since the 'dg' sounds a bit harsh to my ears. I'm much more partial to Edmund.However... "Edge," imo, is trying way too hard.

Edgar I like a lot, Charles not so much. I just find Charles so stuffy, frumpy and serious. Edge could make a cute nn, why not hey?

It's super old-fashioned, but in that almost a vintage comeback sort of way, which is completely my style.I really like Edgar. It's Shakespearean! :)Edge could be cool, or just Eddie if it suits him better.

Edgar just does not have a good sound to me at all. But I guess that is just taste, as there isn't really anything wrong with the name. Edgar Charles flows fine. Personally, I would spunkify Edgar with something a bit more youthful and fun. Sorry.Edge, though, that has a pretty high fun score as far as nicknames go. I like it, and it's very clever for Edgar.

I like it. I tend to prefer Edmund or Edward to Edgar, but I still find Edgar to be quite handsome. I especially like it pair with Charles. As for the nn Edge, idk, it feels a bit cheesy to me. Too forced or trying to hard to sound cool and edgy.
