Re: Name help for a girl

So I thought of a name and I wanted your opinion on it. I was thinking that she could've had the nickname Jem because she had these blue eyes that made her stand out despite being red (because she was a premature baby). Then her name be Jemma.
By the way, I have a terrible memory. So, please remind me, did you think I should have her middle name be her mother's? (Jemma Alicia)
Thanks

I like that idea... though I would likely use Gemma (Gem) instead. But my Italian-ness dictates that change.
"What a little Gem/Jem" is a great way to instigate the name, good idea.
I love the idea of using the mom's name as a middle.
Alicia was pretty popular in the 80s and 90s so it would work on a woman having babies now... but if this is a couple of decades from now - I might go with something that is mainstream at the moment.
Alexis, Alyssa, and Alexandra are all similar and currently in the top 100.
That said, I would believe an Alicia being born today.
