Have you ever fallen in love with a name...
...all of a sudden? Like, you have seen it dozens of time and then you just fall in love?
This happens to me sometimes and it's always very nice, I think. For example, I suddenly fell in love with Tristram for a boy, and with Seraphina (and all variants of it) for a girl.
There are even names I used to hate when I was younger that I now love to bits, like Liv and Sofia.Does the sea exist
Because of our longing?

Yep, that's happened to me with Clark and Romilly. It really is a nice feeling, like suddenly finding a treasure that was hidden in plain sight.

Yes! It actually happen with my daughters name. I heared and read it so many times before that I just found it boring and overused (coming from Germany). And then - I think it was sometime in 2009 or 2010 - I read it somewhere again and I just fell in love with it. And I even told everybody: If I ever have a daughter i'd love to name her Leonie :)
And now I have a wonderful daughter named Leonie

That happened to me with Damon. I never really paid any attention to it, and then suddenly it's what I'd name my next son. ??I looked at River for a long time before falling for it.
Also Dominique, and Albert.I agree it's nice to have that happen. I would not mind if it happened to me with some more names!

I used to wholly despise Adele, John, Mary, Harold, and Francis / -es. Then one day I saw them and it was like, "Where have you been?! You're amazing!" It was a strange feeling. At the opposite end of the spectrum there are names like Camille and Damien that I used to adore but one day I saw them and thought they were terrible, hideous names. I don't know why but I'd liken them to nails on a chalkboard now.
