HelpNeed help naming a male character!
So I'm notorious for my lack of creative boy names, so I'm looking for a little help here. I'm writing a story and need a name for a new character. He's not a main character, just a subplot, if that's any importance. I haven't really fully developed him in my mind which is probably why I'm struggling with names. But he's a nice guy, a bit goofy and one of those guys who's so sweet it's almost too good to be true. I imagine him having light hair and not the most convential sort of good looking.
So maybe a name that's not super masculine, a little soft but not too feminine. I don't really need middle names, but feel free to suggest away because I'm always on the look out for boy names, haha.
Edited to say I should mention that this story will be taking place in England in the late 70s.

I'm not too firmiliar with that character from that show since i don't watch it but reading your description, its kind of how I envision the name.
On some light features, goofy type of guy who's a really nice & decent guy & enjoys life. The name also doesn't scream overly masculine. At least all in my option (:

I think if it weren't my assiocation with the show, I'd probably think the same. It has nice soft qualities but I can't help my prevous bias!!
I like Max, I've always liked Max, although I feel like it's wasted on a side character because I do love it so much. Wes isn't bad though, I can see that one definitely working. Thanks for your suggestions!
