Caspian vs Casper vs Jasper
I've been thinking about these three names, I like all three but obviously the three of them are quite similar so I only want to use one.Caspian - been a long long long time favourite. I love it because it seems strong and classic, though I worry that it might be a tad 'trendy'.Casper - a newer favourite. Husband loves this one. I like that its really classic. The whole ghost thing doesn't bother me at all. Though Casper doesn't have the cool edgy sound that Caspian has.Jasper - One of my oldest and most favourite names.. however its become super popular now so I love it but don't know if I would use it.Which name is best? Potential siblings could be Theodore, Daphne, Winifred/Wilfred

By far I prefer Caspian, although I like Jasper and Casper too. Caspian is my absolute all time favourite boys' name, and it's just perfect in my eyes. I definitely don't see it as trendy, despite the -an ending.

I love both Caspian and Jasper but I slightly prefer Caspian as it isn't popular.

My clear favorite is Casper, though Jasper and Caspian are also fine.

I think I like Casper the best. Jasper is the name of a rock and Caspian is the name of a lake.

I'm not sure any of them really fit with Theodore, Daphne, and Winifred/ Wilfred. I do like Caspian better, though. I'd call it literary, since it's from The Chronicles of Narnia, or a geographic name. Caspar reminds me too much of Caspar, the Friendly Ghost. Jasper feels like a 49'er. (the gold miners, not the football team)

I like all three of them as well. I don't think Caspian fits in with the potential siblings, so it's down to Casper and Jasper.Jasper - I know it's still gaining popularity in the US, but I feel like it's already had it's chance. It was pretty much everyones favorite name her eon the boards for a while, and then suddenly only a few liked it. I guess that's why I feel like it had it's chance, it feels "old" to me now, like a few years too late. Still a nice name though.Casper - More unusual, but there's casper the friendly ghost of course. Doesn't matter to me though since Casper/Kasper is a very popular name where I live. I wouldn't call it a classic - at least not the kind of classic like William, Henry, Anna or Mary. Casper is a little more out there than the potential siblings names, but together they have that vintage feel so I think Casper would fit right in. So yeah, Casper.

Well obviously I am going to say that Jasper is my fave! In Victoria it isn't super popular, thankfully. For you though, with the other names that you like, I would vote for Caspian. I have seen you mention it a lot and personally I do not find it trendy.
