Sonogram technology was not yet available when my mother was pregnant with me so she did have a name chosen if I was a girl. It was Melanie Marie.
But the boy name had not been chosen until later, as I understand. My mother wanted to name me Blair Leigh, and my dad said "absoltely not" (thanks be).
He wanted Dylan. Brandon was an alternative choice and my grandmother encouraged the choice, as I understand it.
