My mother often says, "I almost named you that!" It will be fun to see how many names I can recall were in the running for me.
Rhiannon - she loved Stevie Nicks.

Maggie (May) - and Rod Stewart.
Daniel Joseph if I was a boy.
Megan was my father's first choice, but my mother thought it was too common at the time. It helped her case that a woman gave birth to a Megan in the same room my mother was in at the hospital.
This is all I can remember for right now. I'll post more if I think of any.
