Bonnie and Connie

Well, my birth mother named me (and my sister). She planned Heidi and Heather, but we ended up Heidi and Holly, as we were Christmas-time babies.
In any case, my step-mother (who raised us from infancy) always wanted twins and would have named them Bonnie and Connie. I hope I would have been Connie, but in any case, we were lucky to escape her naming style!
The doc originally thought we were triplet boys (old school technology!) and the names picked out were something like Curtis, Craig and Corey. Bio-mom was real into matchiness.
My dad always wanted to name us Zita and Allegra ("little girl" and "cheerful") as he is from Italy. He did get to name my sister Felicia ("happiness"). I totally would have loved his choices.
