Re: More names to think about

Anton (possibly with mn James)- I really like this. I prefer Antony James with the nickname Anton, but Anton sounds really cool and I picture a very good guy.
Charles- I like Charles, but every Charles I've met has gone by Charlie, which seems sort of bland to me.
Lyle- This is definitely not my style, but it's a nice name and it sounds strong. This would probably work as a nickname for Carlisle, so you could have both names.
Laverne or Lavern- I immediately think of a woman when I hear this name.
Carlisle- I really like it, but some people may have a hard time with the pronunciation.
Harrison- Harrison is just too surname-y for my liking, but with the nickname Harry it could be fine.
Tate- I like it, though it's not my style. It has a nice sound and it's short and concise, if a little surname-y.
Elwyn- This name sounds like it belongs to a very old man, and it doesn't have that great of a sound anyways, but it would be refreshing to meet someone young with this name.
