HelpRe: How tempting are the initials P.P. ?

They're just initials in the end.
I think whether they're alright or not, depends on the character of the particular person bearing them. Any kid with those initials will be potentially picked on, but only some of them would perceive pain from it. It's something unknowable beforehand but you could probably prognosticate about it based on the parents' personalities. Would it bother you to be P.P.?
I'm imagining buying a house, and having to initial page upon page with the initials PP. Honestly, I would not mind or feel it was icky. I'd think it was kind of sassy. I guess there are places where it would look funny... like if you had to initial an estimate for a bathroom plumbing contract? I wouldn't be humiliated. I would be amused.
Basically I don't think it's a big deal. People will make a bigger deal out of "teasing potential" when they consider it as primarily just initials, belonging to some person - rather than as a certain acquaintance's just-happen-to-be initials.
