Re: Names I dislike
Paul - I have no problem with it but it holds no appeal for me.
Gavin - have always disliked it. Why does it remind me of someone digging and breaking rocks? I dunno.
Brian - I like it alright. Friendly. Just overused.
Adrian - a favorite of mine. Seems expansive but not hyper.
Ethan - meh. Stuckup but decent.
Liam - don't really like. At least on someone from where I live it seems sorta flip, glib, even mincing.Olive - I would like it much more if I liked actual olives. I try to keep the tree in mind. It's an okay name. I'm too cool for Olivia
Laura - It's so much like Paul. Pauls and Lauras I've known have always made good impressions but the names don't make a big impression at all. Laura's okay.
Lisa - I hate Lisa. Let's all hate Lisa together!
Amber - I don't think it's that bad, but I've never been a fan of it. It's a tad annoying I guess.
Tabitha - haha. I can see why you would not like this.
Blythe - I like it, but not so much as a first name (unless it's for a pet)Aubrey - I dislike this, too.
Robin/Robyn - I like Robin for a guy. Robyn and Robin on women is sort of like Amber. I mean, they're annoying in a very similar way. Plus they seem mannish. I don't like them.- mirfak
