Re: Some more names I've been thinking about...
Daisy - it ought to be twee but somehow it isn't, and I like it. The Daisy I know best is fierce and fun and not at all a meek flower, which helps
Brynn - nah. *side-eyes you in a Welsh manner*
Harper - yeah yeah Harper Lee, interesting lady and all, but as a name for an ordinary person it's pretty harsh and makes me think of harpies and Harpic toilet cleaner
Dominique - love it on both sexes
Clea - pretty in theory, but in practice it would sound too much like 'clear' or 'Clare'
Adriana - don't hate it, but I'm not keen on -anas. Adrienne or even Adria appeal moreMerrick - Derek and Eric are in their 70s, 80s or 90s here, so this sounds elderly to me. Meurig is nice though
Ambrose - makes me think of a fat, sleepy, slightly smelly cat
Elijah - do not like at all
Leander - interesting, but would probs end up as boring Andy or Lee
Alec - yup I'm liking this too, not sure why
Leonidas - magnificent, possibly too magnificent for me but I do like saying it.
