I watched "The Other Sister" a couple nights ago (don't reccommend, as I found it mildly offensive)... and the main character is Carla.

After hearing the name so many times, I started to really like how simple and stated it was.

Carla Estelle would be lovely. But, I think I would go with a different name that means star... like Carla Seren or Carla Astraia.

How about Marla to match Starla?
