Re: My Bottom 10 names
1. Jayden - Garbage in one of it's purist forms. I could respect some naming their child the Biblical "Jadon", but this invented trash is unforgivable in my eyes.-Jayden, it's alright, it's a name, it's not garbage, It's not like it's spelled Jaieaydunnex, although that would be alright with me too because I don't hate names, esp invented names.I am fascinated with letter combinations, new or old2. Kayla/Kaylee/Kaylin - made-up, frilly, meaningless, unforgivably infantile dumpster sludge-Kayla is a form of Catherine I think. All names and words are made up dearie.
as for frilly, what's wrong with that,
Meaningless? make your own meaning or maybe you are a little ignorant to find one.
Unforgivable, what has the name done wrong to not be forgiven? Infantile? eventually people with the name will grow old, so not sure what you are saying.
Dumpster sludge is a bit harsh. How many names can fit in a dumpster anyway?
3. Nevaeh - I don't think I need to explain this one
-Hmm backwards names upset you, me thinks you take it too serious, unless this is what you name your kids...4. Genesis - Horrible, what wrong with good-old Jennifer?
I prefer Genesis or Jenna over Jennifer, but Jennifer is not bad, Horrible, again negative words. There is a song called Genesis that I like and thus by association I like it.plus if you like t he bible, Genesis is a very biblical name.no different name than any other word name5. Skylar - *fart noises*
Um excuse me, or you maybe.
Skyler is alright6. Kyler - *louder fart noises*ufta, sounds like you've eaten something not so good
Kyler is a modern name for Kyle I believe.7. Lyric - I apologize for my "retarded parents" comment but I really see no redeeming quality.
I love Lyric for a middle name, How would you know if they are mentally challenged in the first place, and if they were they have a right to name their children whatever they want where i live.8. Morgan for females - I like it on boys, but for girls it just sounds ugly as hell to me, but atleast it's not Madison (I'll explain why that's not here below)I like Morgan for a boy too, I don't dislike it on a girl but I understand so many boys names have gone to girls, which sucks, we need to invent some cool boys names.9. Sadie - Stupid, too close to "sadist" and it's a nickname. What so bad about "Sarah"?
How can a name be stupid? maybe It's has a few letters that are the same as Sadist, yet it doesn't mean the same, or came from that word, did it? I am curious now.10. Julian - I know few with agree with me here, but I abhor this name. While I will admit it's nowhere near as bad a Jayden, but this name always sounded posh, limp, pompous, ugly, effeminate, pretentious and overrated to me. Then there's the far, far superior Julius, which make Julian look even crappier than it already is.To be honest When I was middle school my faves were Gabriel and Julien
they are still on my list, Abhor?
Posh-rich sounding?, Limp-Broken? Pompous-how so?, Ugly? A name is ugly?Euphonically to you perhaps, Effeminate, Depends it does have a softer sound, but You never know how a person will turn out.or pretentious-what is the name pretending to be, do you see what you want to see about a name? Overrated-perhaps, Madison, Addison, Mckenzie etc., are not here because they already receive enough well- deserved hate in my view. I also don't mind the sound of them, it's the "son of-" meanings that turn me off. I know Nevaeh receives a lot of hate too, but it's just so impressively awful it always needs more.-Madison is a place name, Addison was a person with a disease i think, Mckenzie is a last name far as I know, I have no opinion. I guess I am a little weird, I don't know if bashing names really matters. I guess for me if I don't like about something, I don't say anything, so It doesn't get attention -don't give it power esp if it's a silly subject...I respect your opinions, but overall I don't agree with them, not because I like or dislike a name, but you seem to be a little negative or stressing out over something that is mute in the big picture. I'm sorry if i upset you. It's just my opinion. Take it or leave it.
What do you think? Agree? Disagree?
